Using Other Peoples Info To Increase Your Adsense Cash

By Ken Germann of Kenetrix Technologies

Adsense is really making a huge impact on the affiliate marketing industry nowadays. Because of this, weak affiliate merchants have the tendency to die off faster than ever, and ad networks will be going to lose their customers quickly.

If you are losing, rather than winning, in the affiliate program you are currently participating in, maybe it is about time to consider going into the Adsense market, and start earning some real cash.

Google is steadily providing well written and highly relevant ads, that are closely chosen to match the content on your pages.

You do not have to look for them yourself, as the search engine will be the doing the searching for you from other people’s source.

You do not have to spend time in choosing different kind of ads for different pages. And, there are no codes to fuss with for different affiliate programs.

You will be able to concentrate totally on providing good, quality content, since the search engines will be the ones finding the best ads to put on your pages, based on that content.

You are still allowed to add Adsense ads, even if you already have affiliate links on your site. It is prohibited, however, to imitate the look and feel of the Google ads for your affiliate links.

You can filter up to 200 URLs. This gives you a chance to block ads for the sites that do not meet your guidelines, and to also block ads for your competitors. Even so, it is unavoidable that Adsense may be competing for some space on web sites, that other revenues are sharing.

Owners of small sites are allowed to plug a bit of a code into their sites, and have highly relevant text ads, that appeal to their visitors, appear instantly on their pages. Better still, if you own many sites, you only need to apply once, which is far easier than for having to apply individually to many affiliate programs.

The only way to know how much you could already be earning with Adsense, is to try it and see what your results are. It is easy to sign up for the Adsense program, and then implement the display of Adsense ads on your site’s pages. If you decide that you want out, all you have to do is remove the code from your site.

Adsense payment rates can vary extremely. The payment you will be receiving per click is determined by how much the advertisers are paying per click to advertise via the AdWords program. Generally speaking, depending upon the desirability of the keyword(s) chosen by the advertisers using the Adwords program. Advertisers can pay as little as 5 cents per ad, for the less desired keywords, and as high as $10-12 per ad, for the more desired keywords. For the really competitive keywords, advertisers can be paying far more than that per ad! In turn, simply by using Adsense on the pages of your site, you will earn a share of the money paid to Google by those advertisers, each and every time that a visitor to your site clicks on an Adsense ad. You get paid on a “per click” basis by Google, regardless of whether the person clicking on the Adsense ad actually buys something from the advertiser or not.

If your Adsense results remain low or stagnant, you can improve your Adsense results by building simple and uncluttered pages, so that the ads can catch the visitor’s eyes more easily. Often, it pays to differ from the usual things that people are doing already when implementing Adsense on their site’s pages. In addition, it is also a refreshing sight for your visitor when they see something different for a change, thus further enticing them to click on an Adsense ad displayed on your pages.

As Adsense program participants, publishers also have the option of choosing to have the Adsense ads displayed only on certain pages of their site or sites. Another Adsense option is to have the Adsense ads displayed on the individual pages of a large network of sites owned by the Adsense participant, with total control over which pages display the Adsense ads or not. There are many more features in the Adsense program, giving the participants a very high degree of choice as to exactly where and how the Adsense ads are displayed on the pages they control, so they can do what they think will work best for their advantage.

To get an idea if some Adsense ads you see on the search engines would be good for your pages, try to find web pages that have similar material to the content you are planning to create, and look up their Adsense ads.

It is important to note that you cannot choose certain topics only. If you do this, search engines will not place Adsense ads on your site and you will be missing out a great opportunity in making hundreds and even thousands of dollars cash.

It is still wise to look at other people’s usage of Adsense on their pages, and then format your Adsense displays on your pages according to what you found to be appealing. Simply think of it as doing yourself a favor, by not having to work as hard to know what content to have.

Topics to be avoided, at all times, include gambling, firearms, ammunition, tobacco or drugs. If you are being offered more cash, in exchange for displaying Adsense ads of these kinds, it is just like signing your own termination papers. In the long run, it’s just not worth the risk.

With all the information that people need already in your hands, all you have to do is turn that into your profits, simply by using Adsense. In the end, it all boils down to a win/win situation, both for the content site owners and the webmasters or publishers.

So, why wait? Turn other people’s information needs into profits of your own, and starting earning some extra cash today.
